Barbecue Cook-off
Houston's premier purveyor of custom barbecue smokers and pits, Pitts
and Spitts presents the 1st Annual IBCA sanctioned Texas State
Championship of Barbecue.
The Stampede of Pits Barbecue Cook-off will be held at the Lone Star
Convention Center and Fairgrounds May 8, 9 & 10, 2008. Professional
teams from across the state will participate for top honors at this
prestigious cook-off competition.

7am to 12pm - Arrival and set up of cook teams.
9am- Chief Cooks Meeting at Horseshoe Club IBCA Judging
12:30pm- Turkey Breast Turn in- Entry Fee $25- 1st (60%) 2nd (25%) 3rd

2:00pm- Pork Loin Turn in- Entry Fee $25- 1st (60%) 2nd (25%) 3rd (15%)
3:30pm- Open Turn in- Entry Fee $25- 1st (60%) 2nd (25%) 3rd (15%)
5:00pm- Desserts Turn in-Entry Free $10-1st (60%) 2nd (25%) 3rd (15%)
100% payback after judging expenses.
Winners will be announced at the Judges Area 6pm

funniest and most exciting
